First TED-Talk Style Discussion in Adjara

23 September

Adjara’s First TED-Talk Style Discussion held in collaboration with
the British Embassy, the British Council, and ETI Holding

The fisrt TED-Talk style discussion was held within the framework of the British Pop-Up Embassy initiative and was hosted at Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University through a groundbreaking collaboration between the British Embassy in Tbilisi, the British Council Georgia, and ETI Holding. To mark this momentous event, seven distinguished students from ETI Holding: Nana Jorbenadze, Temo Kakhidze, Nana Dzneladze, Dachi Bakradze, Ninia Murusidze, Nikoloz Diasamidze, and Ana Mosidze were selected to deliver discourses before an esteemed audience, including His Excellency the British Ambassador Gareth Ward, senior diplomatic officials, and representatives of the British Council Georgia. This invitation represents both a singular honor and an invaluable milestone in our students' academic journeys.

The globally renowned TED-Talk platform provides an exceptional forum for young minds to hone sophisticated public speaking, rhetoric, and analytical reasoning. Engaging with such prestigious platforms enables scholars to articulate complex ideas and personal visions with confidence and eloquence, cultivate advanced critical thinking and persuasive discourse skills, and demonstrate fluency and poise in high-level English academic communication. Every single scholar presented extraordinarily well, making it exceptionally difficult for the distinguished panel of judges to select a single winner. Ultimately, however, the jury recognized Nikoloz Diasamidze as their overall favorite.

Through their compelling arguments and articulate delivery, our scholars exemplified the extraordinary standard of academic excellence fostered at ETI Holding, proving once again that our students are prepared to thrive on the world stage.

We take immense pride in each of our scholars and extend our warmest congratulations to Nikoloz on this distinguished recognition!
